A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REPORT OF CITY ENGINF'ER
AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING IN THE
MATTER OF STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 631,
IN THE CITY OF BAKERuFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield did
on the 24th day of June, 19409 instruct the City Engineer of the
City of Bakersfield to prepare a written report pursuant to Sections
2 and 3 of "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority
Protest Act of 1931 ", as amended, and thereafter said report was
presented to the City Council,
NOW, THEiEFORE, BE IT RL16OLVF.D BY THI COUYCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKEr+.611ELD, as follows:
1. That the written report presented by the City Engineer
in the matter of Street Improvement District No. 631 is hereby approved,
and it is ordered that the same be placed on file in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield.
2. That said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 19th day
of August, 1940, at the hour of 3:00 P. M. as the day and hour of hear-
ing, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall in the City of Bakersfield
as the place of hearing on said written report, and notice is hereby
given that such hearing will be held at said time and place by said
City Council.
I HEREBY CERTIi+Y that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the .
day of July, 1940, by the following vote:
