A GER'i°.AIN PWVIO d Or` JLU02 AV 14u"E 11,4 THE CITY U BAKEii:ir'ILLD, U"I'VUrid A. bE IT A1 60LVLeD by TAB COu IJIL Or' THE CITY Or' Bs Li ALiZl :&LDI as follows: v(tiLt{r;AS the Council of the City of balcersfield did on the 29th day of iuiarch, 1943, pass its resolution of Intention do. 641, to order the following work to be done, to -wit: That the following described portion of Jewett Avenue be closed, and the lands included within the boundaries of such portion of Jewett Avenue, as described, be abandoned; save and except the perpetual right and easement to use and enjoy any or all of the property de- scribed herein for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing, installing, laying, maintaining or repairing the following: A server line and all of its component parts used or enjoyed in connection therewith; also any other instrumentalities of sanitation; also water pipes, lire hydrants and appliances for fire protection and all appurtenances thereto belonging; also water pipes and connections for the distribution of a domestic water supply; also any other public system or thing and all of its component parts which may be used and enjoyed in connection therewith, LhaL the _;iiy of Jakersfield may desire to place or to have placed therein: All of that certain portion of Jewett Avenue lying southerly of the proposed southerly line of 30th Street, described as follows: .ueginning at a point in the westerly line of evvett Avenue feet southerly from the southerly line of 30th Street as said streets are shown and delineated on ivap of the Oity of Da.lrersfield, Kern i:ounty, Oalifornia, recorded ,,ovember 25, 1696, in Look 1 of Taps at pages 13 and 14, riecores of !ern county, California; thence easterly and parallel with the southerly line of said 30tH. Street to the 1. easterly line of` said Jewett Avenue; thence southerly along said easterly line of Jewett Avenue to the northeasterly right of way line of the oouthern Pacific Company's main line right of way; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly right of way line of the southern Pacific Uompany's main line right of way to said westerly line of Jewett Avenue; thence northerly along said westerly line of Jetrett avenue a distance of o.83 feet to the point of beginning.
