ia1L'fta, the Council of the City of 'Ba'zersfield did on the
2;th day of June, 1945, pass its aesolution of Intention No. 542,
to order the following; work to be done, to writ:
That the following described portion of lst Street, 2nd Street,
3rd Street, "i3" Street, "T" Street and "V" wtreet, as hereinafter
described be closed, and that the lands included •,rithin the boundaries
of such portions, as described, be abandoned; save and except the
perpetual ri =;ht and easement to use and enjoy any or all of the
property described herein for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing,
installing, laying, maintaining or repairing the following:
a sewer line and all of its component parts used or enjoyed in
connection therewith; also any other instrumentalities of sanitation;
also -rater pipes, fire hydrants and appliances for fire protection
and all appurtenances thereto belonging; also water pipes and connections
for the distribution of a domestic water supply; also any other public
syste;,; or tiring and all of its component parts which may be used and
enjoyed in connection therewith, that the Cite of 'Ealcersfield may desire
to place, or to have placed therein.

line of "P" Street and the easterly line of "V" utreet.
(b) all that portion of 2nd street lying between the easterly
line of "1" Street and the easterly line of "V" Street.
(c) al1 that portion of 3rd Street lying between the easterly
line of "P" Street and the easterly line of "V" Street.
(d) all that portion of "." Street lying between the northerly
line of Brundage Lane and the southerly line of 4th Street.
