3rd day of December, 1945, pass its i,esolution of Intention i�io. 651,
to order the following work to be done, to wit:
That the following described portion of R Street be closed,
and the lands included within the boundaries of such portions, as
described, be abandoned; save and except the perpetual right and
easement to use and enjoy any or all of the property described herein
for the purpose of constructing, reconstrucin;, installing, laying,
maintaining or repairing the following:
a sewer line and all of its component parts used or enjoyed
in connection therewith; also any other instrumentalities of sanita-
tion; also water pipes, fire hydrants and appliances for fire protection
and all appurtenances thereto belonging,; also water pipes and connec-
tions for the distribution of a domestic water supply; also any other
public system or thing and all of its component parts which may be
used and enjoyed in connection therewith, that the City of Bakersfield
may desire to place or to have placed therein:
all of that portion of R Street lying between the
southerly line of 16th Street and a line 115.5 feet
southerly therefrom and parallel therewith; also,
all of that portion of R Street lying between the
northerly line of 15th Street and a line 115.5 feet
northerly therefrom and parallel therewith.
All of the above described property is as shown on i:fap of the
City of Za'kersfield, Kern County, California, recorded iTovember 257
1393, in i;ook 1 of i,;aps at pages 13 and 14, ILecords of ,-ern County,
California.
