HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 29-46RESOLUTION T .61 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING THE NO 2 9 46 VACATION OF A PORTION OF CEDAR STREET IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA. The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve as follows: 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is hereby ordered that: All that portion of Cedar Street lying between the Southerly line of Truxtun Avenue and the Northerly line of Toth Street excepting there- from a strip of land 20 feet in width and 10 feet on either side of a line which lies 132 feet southerly from and parallel with the Southerly line of Truxtun Avenue, as shown and delineated on Map of the City of Bakers- field recorded November 25i 1893, in Book 1 of daps at pages 13 and 14, Records of Bern County, California, be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes, all as contemplated by Resolution of Inten- tion No. 654, adopted by the Council of said City on the 11th day of parch, 1940. 1.eference to said resolution of Intention is hereby made for further particulars. 2.
