A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE 100 4 6
VACATION OF A PORTISN OF EUREKA STREET
AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 144 IN THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant
to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Divi-
sion 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and
it is hereby ordered thats
All that portion of Eureka Street lying between
the Easterly line of Sonora Street and the west-
erly line of Inyo Street; also the alley running
easterly and westerly through Block 144 Kern,
as said street and alley are shown and delineated
on Map of Bakersfield Kern County, California
recorded Januar 12, X889, in Book 1 of Maps at
pages 15 and 16�, Records of Kern County, California,
be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and governed by the reservations and ex-
ceptions contained in and contemplated by Resolution of Intention
No. 655, adopted by the Council of said City on the 18th day of March,
1946. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby made for
further particulars.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution,
attested by the Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in
the office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on
