HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 27-47RESOLUTION h 2 ? 47 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF AN ALLEY IN BUCK 2559 IN THE CITY OF BAKERS - FIELD, CALIFORNIA. The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941,11 being Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve as follows: 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is hereby ordered that: All of the alley (33 feet in width) running Easterly and westerly through Block 255, Bakersfield, as said alley and block are shown on Map of the City of Bakersfield recorded November 25, 1898, in Book 1 of Maps at pages 13 and 14, Records of Kern County, California; be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes, subject to and governed by the reservations and ex- ceptions contained in and contemplated by Resolution of Intention No. 665, adopted by the Council of said City on the 1st day of April, 1947. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby made for further particulars. 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.
