does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it
is hereby ordered thats
All that portion of the following described alley
that lies north of the northerly line of Golden
state Avenue in the City of Bakersfield, said alley
being in Block 106 as shown on the Map of the City
of Bakersfield as recorded November 25 1393, on
pages 13 and 14 of Book ido. 1 of Alaps, records of
Kern County, California,
be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and governed by the reservations and ex-
ceptions contained in and contemplated by Resolution of Intention
11o. 6699 adopted by the Council of said City on the 12th day of
April, 1943. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby
made for further particulars.
2. The City Clerk. shall certify to the passage of this reso-
lution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolutions attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of =terns California.

I M]REBY CE&TIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Balcersfieldq at a regu-
lar meeting thereof held on the -3-t-4 day of May, 1943, by the
