A RESOLUTION ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS FOR
VACATION OF AN ALLEY LYING WESTERLY OF
GOLDEN STATE AVENUE IN BLOCKS 180 AND
181 OF THE GODEY TRACT # IN THE CITY OF
BARERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 19th
day of April, 1948, passed and adopted Resolution of Intention
No. 670, which Resolution declared its intention to order the vaca-
tion of an alley lying westerly of Golden State Avenue in Blocks
180 and 181 of the Godey Tract in the City of Bakersfield, which
alley is more specifically described in said Resolution of Inten-
tion, and
WHEREAS, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M., of the 10th day of Belay,
1948, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Bakersfield, Cali-
fornia, was fixed as the time and place for hearing objections to
said proposed vacation, and
WHEREAS, objections having been heard at the aforementioned time
and place.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
Bakersfield hereby finds that the alley described in said Resolution
of Intention is necessary for public street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceedings to vacate said
alley instituted by the passage of the aforementioned Resolution
of Intention be and the same are hereby abandoned.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regu-
lar meeting thereof held on the 17th day of May, 1948, by the
following vote:
