RESOLUTION
4 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING THE V.AC.ATION OF DOLORES
STREET BETWEEN HALEY STREET AND BROWN STREET
IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant
to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941,11 being Divi-
sion 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California$
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and
it is hereby ordered that:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of the inter-
section of Dolores Street (formerly "D" Street) and
Haley Street, same being the southwesterly corner of
Block No. 205 as same is shown on "Map of Bakersfield,
Kern County, Californiag" as pper Map Book No. 1, pages
15 -16; thence South 730 44' O6" East along the southerly
line of said Block No. 205 to its point of intersection
with the westerly line of Brown Street; thence south
160 151 54" West along a southerly extension of the
westerly line of Brown Street a distance of -6 feet;
thence South 890 29' 04" West a distance of x..35 feet
to the easterly corner of Block No. 211 of said Map
as said easterly corner exists on the ground, said
easterly corner being on the southerly line of said
Dolores Street; thence along the southerly line of said
Dolores Street North 730 44' 06" West a distance of
322.11 feet to the easterly line of Haley Street; thence
North 160 151 43" East a distance of 80 feet along the
extended easterly line of Haley Street to the point of
beginning;
be and the same is hereby closed upq vacated and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and in conformity with Resolution of
Intention No. 671, adopted by the Council of said City on the 9th
day of Augusta 1948. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is
hereby made for further particulars.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution,
attested by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in
the office of the County Recorder of the County of Kernq California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of .August, 1948,
by the following vote:
