RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BARERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING TIC CLOSING
OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK NO. 1 SANTA FE ADDITION
NO. 1, IN THE CITY OF BAi SFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pur-
suant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation .Act of 1941,"
being Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and
it is hereby ordered that the east west alley in Block No. 1, of
Santa Fe addition No. 1, described as follows, to wits
That certain east-west alley of 20 feet width extending
easterly from the easterly line of Cypress Street to a
northerly extension of the easterly line of Lot 4; all
in Block No. 1 of Santa Fe Addition No. 1, as per Map
of same recorded in Map Book No. 1 on page 129, filed
for record November 9, 1909, in the office of the County
Recorder of Kern County, California, containing 0.057
acre of land, more or less,
be, and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for
public street purposes, subject to and in conformity with the
Resolution of Intention No. 673, adopted by the Council of said City
on the 7th day of March, 1949. Reference to said Resolution is
hereby made for further particulars.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution,
attested by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, Cali-
fornia.

I REMY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 4th day of April. 1949, by the follow-
