A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE NATURE LOCATION
.AND EXTENT OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 675 IN THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
That certain improvements are proposed to be done and made
within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district herein-
after described. In connection therewith, the Council finds and
determines as follows, to wits
1. That the nature of the proposed improvement consists of
the construction of a sanitary sewer of 6 inch vitrified clay
sewer pipe in East Truxtun Avenue, Gage Street and East 18th Street,
all in the City of Bakersfield, California. The construction of
manholes and lampholes where shown on the plan for said work and
the placing of "Y" branches at each and every lot, piece or parcel
of land in the district, the exact location of said "Y" branches
to be designated by the City Engineer.
2. That the nature, location and extent of the proposed
improvement is shown and marked on a plan entitled "Flan for Public
Improvement District No. 675" and in the specifiications therefor
entitled "Specifications, Information to Bidders, Special Provisions,
Bid Proposal and Contract for Public Improvement District No. 675,
May 1949" heretofore approved by the City Council, on file with the
Clerk of said City, and open to public inspection.
3. That the district or lands proposed to be specially assessed
to pay the costs and expenses of said work and improvement consists
of fractional Block 128, East Bakersfield, lying southerly of the
center line of East Truxtun Avenue (formerly Central Avenue), the
exterior boundaries of which are generally described as follows:
1.
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
East 18th Street with the center line of Gage Street,
thence westerly along the center line of East 18th
Street to the center line of Owens Street; thence
northerly along the center line of Owens Street to
the center line of East Truxtun Avenue (formerly
Central Avenue); thence easterly along the center
line of East Truxtun Avenue (formerly Central Avenue)
to the center line of Gage Street; thence southerly
along the center line of Gage Street to the point of
beginning.
4. That no amount or percentage is proposed to be paid
toward the cost of such work and improvement from any source other
than special assessments upon benefited property. .
5. That the statute under which it is proposed to conduct
proceedings for the proposed work and improvement is the "Improvement
Act of 1911" and amendments thereto, being Division 7 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California.
6. That serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments will be
issued in the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915"
as amended, being Division 10 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 23rd day of May, 1949$ by the following votes
