RESOLUTION .ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS IN
THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 679.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield,
on the 20th day of February, 1950, passed and adopted its
Resolution of Intention No. 679, declaring its intention to order
the vacation of an alley in Block 552, in the City of Bakersfield,
reserving and excepting from said vacation certain easements
therein described, and
WHEREAS, this Council hereby finds and determines that the
public interest would be best served by making reservations and
exceptions more limited in scope than those described in said •
Resolution of Intention, which requires the abandonment of these
proceedings and the commencement of new proceedings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proceedings commenced
by Resolution of Intention No. 679, be and the same are hereby
abandoned and terminated.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 13th day of March, 1950, by the follow-
ing vote:
