A RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT OF CITY
ENGINEER AND SETTING TINS' AND PLACE OF
HEARING IN THE MATTER OF PUBLIC IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 687.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield did,
by Resolution No. 30-51 passed and adopted on the 14th day of May,
1951, order and direct the City Engineer to prepare a written report
pursuant to the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and
Majority Protest Act of 1931, being division 4 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer has prepared and submitted to this
Council a written report in accordance with the provisions of said Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESODIED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. That said written report presented by the City Engineer in
the Matter of Public Improvement District No. 687, is hereby approved,
and it is ordered that the same be placed on file in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield:
2. That said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 7th day of
January, 1952 at the hour of eight o'clock (8:00) P.M., in the Council
Chamber of the City Hall in the City of Bakersfield, California, as
the time and place of hearing on said approved report, and it is
hereby ordered, and notice is hereby given, that such hearing will
be held at the aforementioned time and place by said City Council.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said
hearing as provided in said Special Assessment Investigation, Limita-
tion and Majority Protest Act of 1931.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 19th day of November, 1951, by the
following vote:
