HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 26-47 r RESOLUTION 2 6 4 7 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did on the 30th day of June, 1947, pass and adopt Resolution No. 77 , entitled "IN THE MATTER OF WIDENING AND RESURFACING 23rd STREET, BETWEEN G STREET AND CHESTER AVENUE IN THE CITY OF B.AIRSFIELD, CALIFORNIA." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Bakersfield does hereby find and determine that the probable assessments to be levied to pay the cost of the improvements proposed in said Resolution No. , will not exceed the limitations set up by the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, being Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby ordered to give notice of the Council 's findings and proposed action by mailing prepaid postcards in the form and manner and to the persons prescribed in Division 4, Part 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of June, 1947, by the following vote: AYES:CARNAKIS, CROSS,41001 ,, RYDER, SIEMON, VANDERIEI, VERCAMMEN NOES:___ ____ ASSENT: A 411!
