RESOLUTION oil 'G MAW OF HEALTH.
OFFICES SPREADUPON THE MUTES AND DE-
TERMINING THE NECESSITY OF ISIORS AS A
HEALTH WAR IN THE NATTWO7 PEE=
IIIPBOVNEWIT DISTRICT ED. 675.
WHEREAS, William C. Buss, Health Officer of the County
of Ferny performing the duties of Health Officer in the City of
Bakersfield, has certified to this Body that in his opinion the
installation of sanitary sewers in the area within the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, known as Public
Improvement District No. 678, is necessary as a health measure,
and has recommended to this Body that assessment proceedings be
instituted for the installation of sanitary sewers in said area,
by letter to this Body dated February 1, 1950, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield has investi-
gated the matter and is fully advised in the premises.
NEW, THEREFORE, BE ZT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as followst
1. That the said Letter of the Health Officer of the County
of Kern, hereinabove referred toy be spread upon the minutes of
this Body, in full.
2. That this Council hereby finds and determines that the
construction of sanitary sewers in Public Improvement District No. 678
is necessary as a health measure.

and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regu-
lar ,testing thereof held on the 6th day of February, 1950, by the
following vote:
