NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Zoning Adjustment of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at
TUESDAY, August 14, 2012
3:00 p.m., , in Conference Room A of City Hall North, 1600
Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Tom Dee is proposing a zoning modification to construct 6-foot, 10-inch tall
masonry walls along the north and south property lines where a maximum
height of 6 feet is permitted and to reduce the required front yard setback from
15 to 5 feet for a proposed 132-unit apartment complex in an R-2 (Limited
Multiple-Family Dwelling) zone district located at 5601 Coffee Road. Exempt

before the public hearing date/time indicated above (location: 1715 Chester Avenue,

and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the same location. If you challenge the action
taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised
at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
