NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Zoning Adjustment of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at
TUESDAY, November 13, 2012
3:00 p.m., , in Conference Room A of City Hall North, 1600
Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Jamal Powell is proposing a conditional use permit and a zoning modification to
reduce the street side yard setback from 10 to 0 feet and the rear yard setback
from 25 to 7 feet in order to expand an existing church in an R-2 (Limited
Multiple-Family Dwelling) zone district located at 700 S. Haley Street. Exempt
HAYWARD

All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Department on or
before the public hearing date/time indicated above (location: 1715 Chester Avenue,
Bakersfield, CA; phone: 661/326-3733; email: devpln@bakersfieldcity.us. You may review
and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the same location. If you challenge the action
taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised
at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
