Mark Lambert, /Water Resources Super ntendent, stated the City has applied t®r grant money from the state f ®r engineering studies on the Devees. The state has frozen a�� grant monies at this time due to the budget crisis. This may affect the PAL agreements with FEMA. Of the six (6) water price categories shown below, items I through 4 are established by existing contracts. The water rate for item 5 is dependent upon local water supply. The rate for Kern River Canal L_ & irrigating Co. irrigation water (item 6) is established substantially in accordance with Public Utility Coi-emission auideHnes.
