ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS OF THE BAKERSFIELD
MUNICIPAL CODE WHICH REFERENCE DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES DIRECTOR.
WHEREAS, the Development Services Department is now known as the
Community Development Department; and
WHEREAS, the term "development services director" is included in multiple
sections of the Bakersfield Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to revise references to the development
services director and refer to the director by the new name.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The term "community development director" shall replace the use of
"development services director" in all sections of the Bakersfield Municipal
Code.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the provisions of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after the date of its passage.
