The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for theft.
On October 5, 2012, at 8:32 a.m., Bakersfield Police Department Officers responded to
the Rite Aid located at 1601 23rd Street, regarding a theft of a purse. Upon arrival,
officers learned the victim’s purse was removed from her shopping cart while inside the
store. The suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, was seen
in possession of the victim’s purse.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call the
Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Keli Reed at 326-3504.
