The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect
wanted for robbery.
On November 29, 2012, at 2:57 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to
the Walgreens located at 40 Chester Avenue, for a report of a robbery. The suspect, depicted in the
attached video surveillance photograph, entered the business, selected merchandise and attempted to
exit the store without paying. The suspect was then contacted by a store employee. The suspect stated
he was armed with a firearm and fled the business with the merchandise.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 20 years of age, 5’08” tall, medium build, wearing a black
jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is urged to contact the Bakersfield Police
