On December 31, 2012, at approximately 3:59 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to the JJ Cigarettes store, located at 1715 Wilson Road, regarding a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned three suspects, two of which brandished firearms, entered the store and removed an undisclosed amount of currency and merchandise. The suspects, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, then fled the business with the money and merchandise. Suspect # 1 is described as a Black male, 18-21 years of age, 5’06” tall, 150-160 lbs., wearing a black baseball hat with a red logo, a black jacket and jeans. Suspect # 2 is described as a Black male, 18-21 years of age, 5’06”-5’08” tall, 150-160 lbs., wearing a blue mask, black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Suspect # 3 is described as a Black male, 18-21 years of age, 5’09”-5’10” tall, 160-170 lbs., wearing a gray and black checkered sweatshirt, jean shorts and carrying rolling style suitcase. Anyone with information regarding the identity of these suspects is urged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Ryan Kroeker 326-3546.
