The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a
suspect wanted for robbery.
On November 8, 2012, at 6:20 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to
the Joinus Beauty Supply, located at 3719 Wilson Road, C #1. The suspect, depicted in the
attached video surveillance photograph, entered the business armed with a firearm and
demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the business with an undisclosed
amount of currency.
The suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s, 5’10” tall, 170 lbs., unshaven; wearing a
Washington Nationals baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and white tennis
shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the Bakersfield
