The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a
suspect wanted for robbery.
On Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at about 8:40 a.m., Bakersfield Police Officers responded to
the Radio Shack located at 2734 Ming Avenue for a report of a robbery. The suspect, depicted
in the attached video surveillance photograph, entered the business, brandished a firearm and
demanded currency and cellular telephones. The suspect then fled the business with an
undisclosed amount of money and cellular telephones.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 18-20 years of age, 5’08” tall, medium build and
wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the Bakersfield
