NOTICE OF CANCELLATION
OF THE
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
METRO BAKERSFIELD ANIMAL CONTROL COMMITTEE
OF THE KERN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AND
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
City and County staff are making progress in the joint effort to identify an
equitable approach to providing animal sheltering services in the Metro
Bakersfield area. Additional time is needed for City and County staff to meet and
continue the work that is underway. As such, the Metro Bakersfield Animal
Control Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 16th will be rescheduled to
a later date. Once the date has been confirmed, public notification will be
provided.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the special meeting of the Metro Bakersfield
Animal Control Committee scheduled for Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:30
a.m. in Conference Room A, First Floor, City Hall North, 1600 Truxtun Avenue,
Bakersfield, California, has been canceled.
