On October 10, 2012, the suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photograph, used fraudulent identification at a local bank and wire transferred the victim’s money out of the country. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 661-327-7111 or Detective Galland at 661-327-3858. You can now send an anonymous text message to the Bakersfield Police Department. It’s quick and it’s easy. Simply enter 274637 into your phone and text BPDCRIMES along with your message. The text is sent to the police department and the sender remains completely anonymous.
