On November 5, 2012, at approximately 2:05 p.m., the suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, entered the Rite Aid, located at 1601 23rd Street and selected merchandise, which he concealed on his person. When a store employee confronted the suspect, the suspect assaulted the store employee and fled the business without paying. The suspect is described as a White male, 30-40 years of age, 5’10” tall, 180 lbs., with brown medium length hair, wearing a blue Los Angeles Dodgers t-shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective John Blunt at 326-3964.
