The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for robbery.
On January 20, 2013, at approximately 7:29 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police
Department responded to the Southside Liquors Store, located at 4901 Wilson Road for
a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect, depicted in the
attached video surveillance photographs, entered the store, demanded currency and
physically assaulted the store employee. The suspect then fled the business with an
undisclosed amount of currency.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 25-30 years of age, 5’11” to 6’00” tall, 185-
200 lbs., with a dark complexion, wearing a black and white striped beanie hat, black
coat and black pants.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to call the
