The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a
suspect wanted for robbery.
On Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at approximately 6:48 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police
Department responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Chase Bank, situated inside
the Albertsons, located at 3500 Panama Lane.
Upon arrival, officers learned a male subject approached the teller window of the Chase Bank,
located inside the store, made threats of a firearm and demanded currency. The suspect fled
the business with an undisclosed amount of currency.
The suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photograph, is described as a Hispanic
male, 25, 5'10" tall, medium build, unshaven with a mustache, wearing a dark colored baseball
hat with a “Dallas Cowboys” logo, black zip up hoodie sweatshirt and athletic pants. He is
described as having his hair pulled into a ponytail (possibly a wig) and wearing prescription
glasses.
