On January 5, 2013, at approximately 2:56 a.m., Bakersfield Police Officers responded to the 1500 block of East 10th Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers learned the victims were standing in the 1500 block of East 10th Street when two vehicles traveling westbound on East 10th Street stopped in the roadway and the occupants of the two vehicles began firing several shots at the victims. The suspect vehicles, depicted in the attached video surveillance photograph, fled westbound on East 10th Street. The suspects are described as unknown race males. The first suspect vehicle is described as a newer model dark colored Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with 22” wheels similar to a Chevrolet Tahoe. The second suspect vehicle is described as a gray or white 4-door sedan. Anyone with information regarding this case or the identity of this suspect is urged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111 or Detective Marcela Garcia at (661) 326- 3552.
