The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for annoying a child.
On Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at approximately 3:42 p.m., the suspect drove his
vehicle near the juvenile victim in the 4200 block of Pin Oak Park Boulevard, exited the
vehicle and asked the victim to enter the vehicle. The victim refused and walked away
from the suspect. The suspect then reentered his vehicle and followed the victim for
approximately a half of a block. The victim ran from the suspect and was contacted by
a concerned citizen as the suspect left the area.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his 30’s, 6’00” tall, 180 lbs., with
salt and pepper shoulder length hair, wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue jeans and
white running shoes.
The vehicle the suspect was occupying is described as a black, older model, four door
vehicle with chrome wheels with a Maltese cross located in the center of them.
