The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for sexual battery.
On Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at approximately 11:00 AM, the victim was in the parking
lot at the Kern Medical Center Department of Pharmacy, located at 1830 Flower Street,
when she was greeted by the suspect, depicted in the attached computer-generated
composite, who was standing near her vehicle. After the victim placed her purse in her
vehicle, the suspect approached the victim and started to hug and kiss her. The victim
resisted; however, the suspect touched the victim inappropriately. The victim was able
to escape and flee the area.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, late 40s to early 50s, 5’00” to 5’05” tall,
125 lbs., short, dark hair, with a gray trimmed mustache and wearing a plaid short-
sleeved shirt.
