The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for robbery.
On January 31, 2013, at approximately 4:12 p.m., the suspect entered the Albertsons,
located at 1520 Brundage Lane, removed food items and entered the restroom where
he concealed the merchandise. Upon exiting the restroom, the suspect was confronted
by a store employee, at which time he brandished a knife. The suspect then fled the
business in a black 4-door Dodge Charger with tinted windows.
The suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photograph, is described as a
Black male, 22 years of age, 5’10” tall, 180-200 lbs., with a tattoo of a tear drop on his
face. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath
and jeans.
Anyone with information regarding this suspect is urged to call the Bakersfield Police
