The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for armed robbery.
On February 19, 2013, at approximately 6:16 p.m., the suspect, depicted in the attached
video surveillance photographs, entered the Maria’s Collections Store, located at 17 “H”
Street and brandished a firearm. The suspect demanded currency and the store
employee complied. The suspect then fled the business.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his 20s to 30s, 5’09” tall, with a medium
to heavy build, 225 lbs., with a thin mustache and a tattoo on the front of his neck. He
was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, blue jeans and white
tennis shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to call the
