For Immediate Release March 4, 2013
On March 4, 2013, at 2:59 p.m., Bakersfield Police Officers were dispatched to the
Citibank, located at 2525 Oswell Street, regarding a bank robbery.
The investigation revealed the suspect handed the bank teller a note demanding
money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the business with the currency in a
northeast direction.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his mid 20’s, 6’00” tall, with a thin build.
He was wearing what appeared to be a wig and was dressed like a female. He was last
seen wearing sunglasses and a black shirt.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the Bakersfield Police
