The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating several recent surveillance camera
thefts and requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for
theft of a surveillance camera.
On February 2, 2013, at approximately 3:08 a.m., the suspect, depicted in the attached
video surveillance photograph, approached the front of the victim’s residence and
removed a video surveillance camera.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his late 20s, with a mustache.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Bakersfield
Police Department at (661) 327-7111 or Detective Craig Checklenis at (661) 326-3907.
