The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying two
suspects wanted for robbery and conspiracy.
On March 21, 2013, at approximately 6:03 p.m., two suspects entered the Cigarette Mart,
located at 1719 Columbus Street. The suspects then threatened an employee with a knife, and
took items of value. Then the suspects fled the business on foot in a southbound direction.
The first suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, is described as a
Black male, in his early 20s, 5’10” tall, 150 lbs., wearing a black t-shirt with a blue diamond
design on the front and dark colored pants. He is believed to be armed with a knife.
The second suspect is described as a Black male, in his early 20s, 6’02” tall, 175 lbs., wearing a
black and white bandana on his head, black t-shirt, black sweat pants with two thin red stripes
down the sides and red shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of these suspects is urged to contact the
