The Bakersfield Police Department received information that a 17 year old
female had engaged in unlawful sexual intercourse with an adult male.
On Monday, April 1, 2013, the victim disclosed that she and the adult male
had been having a sexual relationship for nearly three months. During that
relationship, they had sexual intercourse several times.
The investigation led to the arrest of Jon Aleczander Sweet, 25, of
Bakersfield. Sweet was found to be in possession of several nude
photographs of the juvenile. Sweet was arrested for various charges
including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and sexual exploitation
of a child.
The investigation is ongoing. Additional charges are pending the outcome
of the investigation.
