An employee of the Kern County Department of Human Services located a suspicious object inside the front doors of the business and contacted the Bakersfield Police Department. The Bakersfield Police Department Bomb Squad arrived on scene and determined it was a suspicious object. The suspicious object has been rendered safe. The investigation is ongoing.
