The Bakersfield Police Department would like to invite the community to commemorate
a mentor, role model and hero.
On Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., the Bakersfield Police Department will hold a
press conference at the Bakersfield Police Activities League, located at 301 East 4th
Street to dedicate the boxing gym to former P.A.L. Coach and Advisor, Mike Dallas Sr.
Dallas spent 15 years as the boxing instructor at the Bakersfield Police Activities
League, coaching hundreds in the boxing program.
The public and media are encouraged to attend.
