The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect and suspect vehicle wanted for vehicle burglary.
On April 7, 2013, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the suspect parked his vehicle, depicted in
the attached video surveillance photographs, next to the victim’s vehicle in the 2600
block of Oswell Street. The suspect then smashed the victim’s window, removed items
of value and fled in the suspect vehicle southbound in the parking lot.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect and/or vehicle is
encouraged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111 or
Detective Dennis Murphy at (661) 326-3567.
