The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for fraudulent use of an access card.
In the later evening hours of February 23, 2013, or early morning hours of February 24,
2013, the victim’s purse was taken during a vehicle burglary. On February 24, 2013 at
approximately 2:30 a.m. and February 25, 2013, at approximately 8:45 a.m., the
suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photograph, used the victim’s
access card to obtain money from the Kern Schools Federal Credit Union Automated
Teller Machine (ATM) located at 2500 Chester Avenue.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years of age, wearing a
gray baseball hat with the letter “C,” and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to contact
