The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for attempted robbery, burglary and assault with a deadly
weapon.
On March 16, 2013, the suspect, depicted in the attached computer generated
composite, knocked on the victim’s residential front door. When no one responded to
answer the door, the suspect forced entry into the residence through a rear door. Once
inside, the suspect encountered the victim. A struggle ensued and the suspect
assaulted the victim with a pair of gardening shears.
The suspect is described as a Black male, in his mid to late 20s, 5’08” tall, with a
muscular build, short black hair and beard.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the
