Peace Officer Memorial week is Sunday, May 12, 2013, through Saturday May 18,
2013. Peace officers spend their lives dedicated to the community, being a voice for the
voiceless, and daily putting their lives on the line to protect and serve.
Please join us in honoring the fallen officers of the Bakersfield Police Department on
Monday, May 13, 2013 at 7:00 a.m. in front of the Bakersfield Police Department,
located at 1601 Truxtun Avenue. The ceremony is expected to last approximately 30
minutes.
The media and public are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
