ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTION 1.12.060 BY ADDING ANNEXATION NO. 556 TO WARD
6.
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) adopted a
resolution for Annexation No. 556 recently ordering the territory annexed to the City of
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the territory ordered to be annexed to the City of Bakersfield is
required to be within a City Council Ward Boundary; and
WHEREAS, the LAFCo recently completed the annexation for the territory
to the City of Bakersfield, the exterior boundaries of Annexation No. 556 which is
described in the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on the map in Exhibit "B ", attached
hereto and incorporated as though fully set forth herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
Section 1.
All of the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be true and correct.
Section 2.
Annexation No. 556 shall be included in Ward 6.
Section 3.
Section 1.12.060 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding thereto the legal description set forth in Exhibit "A ".
Section 4.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Bakersfield
Municipal Code and shall become effective upon the annexation of the above -
described territory to the City of Bakersfield, but not less than thirty (30) days from and
after the date of its passage.

STINE NO. 14
TO THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
Those portions of land located in the Southeast quarter of Section 34,
Township 30 South, Range 27 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, the
Northwest quarter of Section 2 and Northeast quarter of Section 3,
Township 31 South, Range 27 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian all in
the County of Kern, State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 3; thence South
89 °03'31" East along the North line of said Section 2 a distance of 30.00
feet and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence (1) South 00 040'06" West a distance of 30.00 feet to the
intersection of the East right of way line of Stine Road (County
Road 205) and the South right of way of Taft Highway (State
Route VI -KER -1 19);
Thence (2) South 00 045'43" West along said East right of way a distance
of 2643.33 feet;
Thence (3) North 89014'17" West a distance of 30.00 feet to the East line
of said Section 3, the East quarter corner of said Section 3
being North 00 045'43" East a distance of 29.94 feet from said
point;
Thence (4) continuing North 89 °14' 17" West a distance of 30.00 feet to
the West right of way line of said Stine Road also being a
Southeast corner of City of Bakersfield Annexation 503 Ashe
No. 4 per Certificate of Completion recorded January 6, 2010
as Document No. 0210001505 as filed in the office of the Kern
County Recorder;
Thence along the existing City of Bakersfield corporate boundary the
following four courses;
Thence (5) North 00 045'43" East along said West right of way a distance
of 1357.67 feet to the South line of Lot 2 of Kern County Map

office of the Kern County recorder;
Thence (6) North 89 °1015" West along the said South line and the South
line of Lot 3 of said Sales Map a distance of 1951.83 feet to
the Southwest corner of said Lot 3;
Thence (7) North 00 1145'44" East along the West line of said Lot 3 a
distance of 1289.11 feet to the North line of said Section 3 also
being the center line of Taft Highway (State Route Vi -KER-
119);
Thence (8) continuing North 00 045'44" East a distance of 30.00 feet to the
North right of way line of said Taft Highway;
Thence (9) South 89 004'33" East along said North right of way a distance
of 660.48 feet to the Southwest corner of Tract 6290 Unit Four
recorded July 31, 2007 filed in Map Book 58 at page 58 in the
office of the Kern County Recorder;
Thence along Tract 6290 Unit 4 boundary and the existing City of
Bakersfield corporate boundary the following four courses:
Thence (10) continuing South 89 004'33" East along said North right of way
a distance of 531.89 feet;
Thence (11) North 00 055'27" East a distance of 37.00;
Thence (12) North 17 016'29" East a distance of 178.94 feet;
Thence (13) South 89 004'33" East a distance of 290.28 feet to the
Southeast corner of said Tract 6290 Unit Four also being the
Northwest corner of parcel described in Grant Deed Transfer
to Revocable Trust recorded June 15, 2004 as Document No.
0204137399 filed in the office of the Kern County Recorder;
Thence (14) continuing South 89 004'33" East along the North line of said
parcel a distance of 210.18 feet to the Northeast corner of
said parcel;
Thence (15) South 00 05527" West along the East line of said parcel a
distance of 208.70 feet to the Southeast corner of said parcel
also being on the North right of way of said Taft Highway;

of 208.53 feet to the intersection of the West right of way line

Road;
Thence (18) continuing South 89 004'02" East a distance of 30.00 feet to
the intersection of the East right of way line of said Stine Road
and said North right of way of Taft Highway;
Thence (19) South 00 040'06" West a distance of 30.00 feet to the North line
of said Section 2 also being the centerline of Taft Highway
