The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for battery.
On May 17, 2013, at approximately 2:53 p.m., the suspect, depicted in the attached
video surveillance photographs approached the victim, who was in the parking lot of the
Food Maxx located at 4128 Chester Avenue. The suspect made inappropriate
comments towards the victim. Fearing for her safety, the victim turned to retreat to the
business. The suspect approached the victim, grabbed her and kissed her, before
fleeing the area.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 42 to 45 years of age, 5’05” tall, 180
lbs., with black medium length hair, brown eyes, wearing a dark blue t-shirt and
white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the
