For Immediate Release June 7, 2013
On Friday, June 7, 2013, at approximately 4:59 p.m., Bakersfield Police Officers were
dispatched to a robbery alarm at the Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, located at
4530 Ming Avenue.
When officers arrived, they learned the suspect, depicted in the attached video
surveillance photographs, entered the business and handed a teller a note demanding
currency. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount
of currency.
The suspect is described as a Black male, in his 20s, wearing a red, white and
black fitted baseball hat, white dress shirt and dark pants.
