Please find attached the 911 recording of the call the Bakersfield Police
Department received from 1220 Telegraph Ave. on June 12, 2013.
For Immediate Release June 12, 2013
On June 12, 2013, at 3:44 a.m. Bakersfield police officers were dispatched to
1220 Telegraph Ave. in response to a 911 call wherein a male caller told
dispatchers, “My wife has been shot.” On arrival officers contacted the resident,
Mark Joseph Madrigali, 58 and detained him. Once inside the residence they
located an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound. The woman was
unresponsive and transported to Kern Medical Center where she is listed in
critical condition.
Mark Madrigali was later arrested and booked into the Kern County jail for
attempt homicide and spousal abuse.
This investigation is continuing and anyone with information is encouraged to call
Detective Finney at 326-3535 or the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
