The Bakersfield Police Department has made an arrest in connection with three robberies in the City of
Bakersfield.
On June 14, 2013, Bakersfield Detectives arrested Gregory Crite, 46, for a Ramey Warrant for three counts of
robbery related to the Wells Fargo Bank robbery, 8000 White Lane that occurred on Saturday, May 4, 2013, a
robbery at the CVS Store, 5184 Stockdale Highway that occurred on June 10, 2013 and another CVS robbery
at 2690 Mt. Vernon Ave. that occurred on June 11, 2013.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for
robbery.
On June 10, 2013, at approximately 10:28 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department received a call of a robbery
at the CVS Store, located at 5184 Stockdale Highway. When officers arrived on scene, they learned the
suspect entered the business, said he was armed with a firearm and demanded currency. The employee
complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect fled the business in an older model 1990s to 2000s black
Chevrolet sedan, dirty in appearance.
The suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, is described as a Black male, in
his 40s, 6’02” tall, 250 lbs., wearing blue coveralls and a camouflage hat.

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted
for a robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 8000 White Lane on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
The suspect, depicted in the attached video surveillance photographs, is described as a black male in his 50s,
6’02” tall, wearing a white baseball hat and white painter’s jumpsuit.

Previous Release May 4, 2013
On Saturday May 4, 2013 at 11:42 am, Bakersfield Police Officers responded to a robbery alarm at the Wells
Fargo bank, 8000 White Lane. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect had already fled the business.
The suspect approached a teller, made threats of possessing a firearm, and demanded currency. The suspect
was described as a black male in his 50’s, 6’2”, wearing a white baseball cap and a white painters jumpsuit.
